Senior Capstone - Mixed Use - Spring 2022

The Fox Lofts will be a new apartment complex with commercial spaces coming to Appleton, Wisconsin in 2023. The commercial spaces will be a new centralized community gathering hub, with access to the business along the perimeter of the building. The spaces will be open and welcoming, with a modern look and a twist of industrial characteristics. Businesses will have large glass fronts, to show off product and attract customers as they walk through the surrounding area.  

The residential units of the complex will allow for a comforting home space for the mature tenants. The units will consist of home amenities, tall ceilings, and industrial flair. Large windows, exposed air supplies and returns, and recycled brick and wood will be common features. Tenants will feel as if they are living in a historic building, but with a sophisticated touch. The Fox Lofts rooftop space will provide an ample gathering space for residential tenants year round. The rooftop will take advantage of the river view and beautiful location with natural, water sealed timbers and sturdy outdoor furniture and finishes.
